Hey, folks. I've gotten back into reading over the past few years, though my choice of book has nearly all been from the same vein; nonfiction books about the Global War on Terror, national defense, and intelligence, largely from the American perspective. I've greatly enjoyed these books but it's time for something different. Issue is, I have no idea what other genres I think I'd enjoy. I feel fantasy would be a good place to start, but what do you all recommend?

I bet you’d enjoy historical fiction and memoirs.
For me, Class Conscious lit was new.
Fahrenheit 451 .. kind of ties into the themes you’ve been reading about.
The Martian .. sci-fi and hopeful
Were there any books you enjoyed in the past? Rereading an old favorite could be a good place to start
