I’m looking to learn more about the US economy and history but more specifically the source material the US structured our modern day economy. Almost like a “communist manifesto” of how the economy should ideally be structured.

Ray Dalio has some good books on the topics.
*The capital order* by Clara Mattei is about Britain and Italy but the processes it describes apply to the US as well.
