you know that weird feeling after finishing a really good book where suddenly nothing else sounds interesting anymore because youre still emotionally stuck in that story. like your brain is still attached to the characters the atmosphere and the world and starting a new book almost feels wrong for a while. im looking for books that create that kind of emotional hangover
the kind where you just sit there after the last page thinking about everything for hours or even days after. what book gave you that feeling the hardest?

I am fighting the urge to re-read East of Eden. after I finished it I just wanted to go back to that world. It’s been 2 years and I still think about it.
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. I read the book in english, and 2 other languages and I watched the movie, and the audiobook 😅 and I still can’t get over it
I who have never known men by Harpman
M-0 by Tanasa
1984 by Orwell
A Short Stay in Hell by Steven L. Peck
I put this one a side for years.. after I read it. It still haunts me
