I was born in the U.S. while my mom is from Brazil, and my life has been a fuse of the US and Brazil. I've read Crying In Hmart by Michelle Zauner, and found myself resonating with her struggling with her sense of belonging. I was curious to explore different cultures and lenses on what it's like growing up with an immigrant parent and living in two different traditions. I'm open to any suggestions!

I was going to say crying in h mart does this phenomenally well.
It doesn’t dwell on the third culture experience as much, but I recently read Leanne Shapton’s swimming studies and found is poignant and delightful. The cultural tension in this book though is more growing up as an athlete than growing up third culture. Leanne’s mum is Filipino and was born and raised in Canada
