i wanna read more books, but right now i'm all about romance, is there any books that have a similar vibe to films like Bones and all, Dinner in america, Lisa Frankenstein or Tesis(1996)? (I know tesis is not romance but i'm obsessed with Chema i love weird) any good romance book reccomendation helps too btw thanks <3

They’re very different, but I could see 200 Monas having a similar audience as Dinner in America. It’s not straight romance. More of a literary/dark comedy/thriller but with a strong raunchy romcom influence. Go read the synopsis, it’s a wild ride.
Ok. Gonna point you at books by R. Lee Smith. She wrote sci-fi/horror/romance. Maybe too weird. But they are great books. She somehow juggles horror and utter weirdness with love stories between humans and aliens. My favorite by her is The Last Hour of Gann (shipwrecked human colonists trying to survive on an alien planet and the lizard warrior priest who helps them) and Heat (alien criminal on the run from alien cop who both wind up on earth).
