Hi Im not s huge reader, but I truly want to become one. The thing I struggle with is how to choose a proper book. Recently I have read Normal people by Sally Rooney – i liked the writing but not really a fan of this love troope and story. Then I read Carol and Flowers for Algernon, I really liked both. Im a big, Roald Dahl and Harry Potter fan aswell. Any recommendations? Ive been thinking about John Steinbeck, Charles Dickens or Murakami.

dude if you loved Flowers for Algernon you gotta check out Of Mice and Men by Steinbeck – it’s got that same emotional gut punch about human connection and society treating people differently ðŸ˜
Murakami might be a bit of a jump from what you’ve read so far but if you’re feeling adventurous start with The Giver or maybe some Kurt Vonnegut stuff, those have similar themes about what makes us human 🔥
