Can someone please suggest me a book that’s like the movie it’s such a beautiful day by Don hertzfelt?

Hello! I was wanting to find books that are more surrealist and bizarre, and if you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. But at the moment I am looking for something thought-provoking like that movie, something that talks about existentialism, mortality, life and explores them through a lens that seems tragic yet instead of heartbreaking, it only gives weight to how beautiful life really is. Admittedly I'm a newbie reader, but I want to expand my taste in art.
