I was on threads this morning and saw a post asking people if they’ve recently read any books by black female authors. I thought to myself, surely in my 20 books I’ve read this year, or 50 I read last year, I have to have read one. I was unpleasantly mistaken!
With that realization in mind, I’d like to diversify my reading and hear some of your favorite books. I typically tend to skew towards historical fiction, thriller, WLW books, but open to people’s favorite recs.
Thank you for your time and recommendations! I appreciate you all!
(PS, sorry if this is a frequently asked question or there have been posts about this already, feel free to point me in those directions/add new recs too!!)
