I'm 21 and never read a book, want to get into book reading,i love philosophy….i would love to read one that explores characters/self discovery... or learning about people behaviour in general..or makes me think deep..
(I first wanted read non-fiction only but I saw some telling fiction is good for these… Please do Share your opinion also)

Fiction is amazing for understanding human psychology and behavior – you get to experience different perspectives and really dive into how characters think and react to situations
Maybe start with something like The Stranger by Camus since you mentioned philosophy – its short and explores some deep themes about existence and human nature without being too heavy for beginning. Another good one could be Flowers for Algernon which really makes you think about intelligence and what it means to be human
Both are pretty accessible and will definitely give you that self discovery element you’re looking for
