The Ten Thousand Doors of January hit exactly what you’re describing – portal fantasy with gorgeous forest imagery and this dreamy, mystical atmosphere throughout. Also maybe check out The Priory of the Orange Tree if you want something a bit more epic, tons of enchanted woodland scenes and the romance subplot is chef’s kiss.
