Suggest me some Good crime/thriller books that will make my blood pump and literally an interesting plot and world building, something that will take my attention and focus for a month. Not overly romantic and idealistic. Something really good.

“I Am Pilgrim”, by Terry Hayes
The Harry Hole series by Joe Nesbo is quite fun.
Red Harvest by Dashiell Hammet is one of the earliest and best crime thrillers. Guy gets sent to a rotten town on a job, realizes everyone’s corrupt and trying to kill him, a massive amount of violence ensues.
(If you believe the stories, this was the inspiration for Yojimbo, which inspried A Fistful of Dollars, and the whole “stranger cleans the rotten town through violence” pulp genre)
