Mine is a classic gothic novel- my cousin Rachel. The wriitng is so immersive and puts me in some sort of trance.

I love this question.
I’m currently reading ‘Trejo’ Danny Trejo autobiography
This could possibly be the best book I’ve read ever!
I don’t usually go for autobiographies but have always been fascinated by him.
It’s beautiful because he shows that as hard as life is it’s truly beautiful and surprising and the lessons of hope and recovery are so powerful
Note: if you can listen to the audiobook and have Danny read it is very powerful

Tough.
If I can only pick one, Angela’s Ashes. There’s a simple line in it that haunts me: “He died anyway.”
