Im looking for books with these elements, or something similar to it:
– Fiction or Nonfiction (no space stuff)
– LF a book about human survival in remote or extreme locations such as islands, deserts, or tundra. (Examples of the vibe; Lost, Survivor Type by Stephen King, The Forest, Naked & Afraid)
– I would also enjoy reading about hikers/explorers mysterious disappearances in the wilderness. Bonus points if it’s a collection of short stories.
– 18+ books are okay. I’m an advanced reader.

Swiss Family Robinson
Boon Island, by Kenneth Roberts. Unfortunately it’s a little hard to find and I don’t think there’s an e-book option. Amazing story.
