I just finished A man called ove and I love Backman's writing. Simple story, profound writing to bring human emotions to be felt through words. I'm unable to choose what to read next. I would like some suggestions that have similar notes or another book of the same author.

Britt-Marie Was Here and My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry
Another vote for My Grandmother Sends Her Regards and Apologies and Britt-Marie was here.
Also, the whole Beartown series.
All of his books are good.
Eleanor Oliphant Is Compeltely Fine also made me feel similar although theyre quite different.
Read My Friends or Anxious people by Backman. They are 2 of my favorites
French Windows by Antoine Lauraine. The story is told by a patient of a psychoanalyst as they tell stories of what they’ve seen in windows of their French apartment building, a little like Rear Window.
There is nothing Fredrik Backman has written that I wouldn’t recommend. The two that are most similar to A Man Called Ove are Britt-Marie Was Here and My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry. But my favorites are the Beartown series (which is a bit darker than his other work) and My Friends.
My Friends by Backman, The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot by Marianne Cronin, the Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery, the Humans by Matt Haig
Beartown series. One of the best things I’ve ever read
A Gentleman in Moscow. The Art of Racing in the Rain. The Correspondent.
Lily and the Octopus by Steven Rowley
More by him. Beartown series, My Grandmother told me…, Brit-Marie was Here.
