Like the title says, I would really like some books that are educational references for fictional subjects. I am particularly drawn towards fantasy and sci-fi, but honestly I'm keen on any genre. Horror/Thriller topics are highly welcome! I don't mind if it has a plot or if it doesn't at all.
Some books that I've already read are:
– The Emily Wilde series
– A Natural History of Dragons
– Those 'Egyptology' and 'Wizardology' etc books
– The 'How to Survive Camping' series
I have the Vermis books on my radar and when I can afford to get them that will probably be next on my list. I'm big into gaming and I was replaying Home Safety Hotline for the millionth time thinking about how great it would be to have a novel version of the same experience! I love games like Dredge and Penko Park, honestly anything that makes me feel like I'm learning to some degree!
Any recommendations would be much appreciated, thank you!
