Hello Everyone,
So I am relatively new to this genre and after reading LOTR and then the Harry Potter Series, I figured I really can't get enough of it.
I feel I like adventure + dark books, with a good deal of suspense, a hint of romance but not the YA types which feels a bit cliche. I like books where its unpredictable and you can't judge anyone too quickly and I also like medium paced stories, like neither too slow nor too fast, somewhere in between.
Also I'm looking for a triology and since it'll need some investment to buy them ( Kindle doesn't feel the same) I am in a very confused state about which book should I read ahead, my thoughts are:
1. I've heard about the Red Rising Triologyby Pierce Brown, which felt interesting to me in-terms of story and emotional weightage and people on other subreddits said its good.
2. I also read about Mistborn triology by Brandon Sanderson although there's a mixed sentiment around it, some say it's real good, others don't, but the storyline felt really interesting to me, I just hope its not too much cliche.
3. Then came The Faithful and the Fallen, I've got mixed reviews about the book's pace and character development, storyline was interesting.
4. The Farseer triology, which is also one of the recommendations as far as I've come across, I liked the assasin aspect but felt like it may get a bit slower.
5. And lastly, the Greenbone Saga, I'm not much aware of this just heard it from a friend.
I'm really sorry If I've misjudged the above books as I just read reviews, or for the "you should read what you feel like instead of reading others opinions" because books are an investment of time as well as money, I don't want to leave a series in between because it didn't felt good, it gives a bad feeling later on hence asking for a little help <3
Please help me understand what should I read!!!
Thank you so much for your time.
