I know this is specific, but if anyone could suggest novels set during real or fictional Gold Rushes in the 1800s American Frontiers (or anywhere else for that matter), or stories written directly from the perspective of real or fictional Gold prospectors, I would greatly appreciate it.
I have already been suggested the Call of the Wild by Jack London, and I'm looking forward to anything you guys believe fits what im looking for.

The Luminaries by Elizabeth Catton
The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton is set in the New Zealand gold rush.
Beautiful novel. Wonderful prose, great characters, satisfying storyline. It won the Booker prize, and it’s one of my all time favourite books.
