Just finished reading the book The Last House on Needless Street and I’m kind of irritated because I couldn’t STOP reading it. Disrupted my life completely lol.

Let the Right One In sounds perfect for what you want. It’s cold, disturbing, and not romanticized. I Am Legend is also way darker than most people expect, and The Troop is just genuinely uncomfortable in the best horror way.
