I have come across an interesting idea in a couple other formats, but I can't think of any books along the same line. I'm looking for a post-apocalyptic where either A) another species has taken over after the humans died off or B) the remaining humans are separated enough from the old world that they are past the point of trying to recreate society and have started from scratch with the occasional old world artifact around. I know it is kind of specific, but if anyone knows one or something close I would appreciate it.
