Literary fiction with Greek mythology vibes

Looking for something that’s either Greek mythology (or similar) that’s very literary and/or mystical (something a little more niche/complex than The Song of Achilles, with respect) OR just Mediterranean antiquity vibes – think the movie La Chimera in book form. Lately I’ve been reading a lot of stuff published 1950s-1970s, NYRB editions, and modern classics so anything in these categories in the setting described would be perfect. Thanks!!!
