Want to get into the genre more! The only one I’ve currently read is 'One Last Stop’ and the majority of Sappho’s works (I study ancient history lol) my favourite show is yellow jackets if thats any indication to the vibe I’m looking for but I’m open to anything. Thanks!

if you like horror, *the starving saints* by caitlin starling!! it’s fantasy set in a besieged castle where food stores are running dangerously low and drastic measures may have to be taken… if i remember right all 3 main characters are lesbians! plus I loved the way religion is treated in this, as figures who look like the gods of this world show up at the castle but it’s unclear whether they’re really the gods. but since you like yellowjackets i think this is The big lesbian cannibalism book!!!
if you like literary fiction, you might get this rec a lot but *sunburn* by chloe michelle howarth!! it’s about a girl growing up in rural 1990s ireland and realizing she’s in love with one of her best friends. it has the best yearning i have ever read and resonated so deeply with me that at first after I read it i felt like to recommend it to someone I knew would be akin to a confession of love.
if you like historical fiction, i can’t recommend sarah waters enough! you’ll also probably get a lot of recs for her. i’ve only read 3 of her books so far but they were all really good — *fingersmith* and *affinity* both have INSANE plot twists and i just absolutely loved *tipping the velvet*.
Black Wave by Michelle Tea is great
