Hello. I have been traveling in Europe and am marveling at how different the cluntries are culturally yet so close. Germans are so efficient, the French so uptight, the Italians so laid back, the Dutch so tolerant. I am looking for a sociology book that might explore those questions and try to answer them. You might like ‘Rule Makers Rule Breakers’ by Michelle Gelfand. It’s not just Europe but covers Europe.
I’m not aware of a book that discusses the cultural differences between European countries. But Watching the English by Kate Fox might interest you.
