Hi! I'm always looking for more books that really stick with you, but lately I'm finding it hard to actually pick them up. I read everything except for romance and horror. Lately, I've read and liked Speaker for the Dead and A Guardian and a Thief. Can you pitch your favorite books so I'm motivated to read them? Thanks!

My cousin Rachel by daphne du Maurier – a gothic mystery in which our unreliable narrator falls in love with a woman he suspects of killing his uncle
Delores Claiborne by Stephen King- a continuous monologue of our narrator explaining to a judge that she *definitely* doesn’t know how her abusive husband wound up at the bottom of that well
The Push by Ashley Audrain- a woman struggles with ppd and fears her duaghter is harming other kids
The Beach by Alex Garland- a backpacker discovers a map to a hidden island in thailand
The fruit hunters
Replay by Ken Grimwood was such a fucking fun old book. And so was Master of the Game by Sydney Sheldon, also fun. I read them way back
In high school and their stories still go through my mind.
