Looking for a good “before bed” Kindle series/book recommendation.

Not necessarily something boring that’ll put me to sleep — more like an enjoyable, low-stress escape after long days working in education/admin life.

    For reference:
-I LOVE the Harry Potter series and reread it every couple years.
-Recently reread the first two Hunger Games books but honestly don’t really feel motivated to read the third.
-Currently reworking through Divergent and I’m hitting that point where it’s starting to feel unbearable for the sake of the plot.
-I like John Grisham legal thrillers.
-I’ve read a bunch of Freida McFadden books.
-I’m not a huge fan of books that force romance subplots into everything (cough Divergent cough).
-I enjoy historical fiction occasionally, but usually gravitate more toward fiction series.
-Years ago I did read through Beautiful Disaster, Reason to Breathe, and If I Stay. I liked them, but since I’m happily married, these books will be cringe now.
    -Basically looking for something:
    -Engaging without being mentally exhausting
-Easy to pick up nightly for 20–30 minutes
    -Good pacing
    -Not overly dense or literary
    -Preferably minimal cringe romance
-Something that helps me decompress after stressful days
-Open to fantasy, mystery, thriller, adventure, etc. Doesn’t HAVE to be YA, but YA/adult crossover stuff tends to work well for me.

    What would you recommend?

I recommend Animorphs (k.a. Applegate) and The immortals (tamora pierce)

The Kiesha’ra Series is good, but it has themes of arranged marriage and cross race relationships.. it has “romance” but I don’t think it’s a romance book (there is no on screen intimate encounters, it is YA) it does eventually have a lesbian relationship (all the relationships are kept pg) if that bugs you

    2. I have been reading the Dungeon Crawler Carl series as my easy, nighttime decompression read.
