I recently read Theo of Golden and Remarkably Bright Creatures and loved each. Theo of Golden left me in a state of wanting to know and love people better while Remarkably Bright Creatures was just charming and sweet. I’m a big thriller, mystery, fantasy, romcom reader (and bonus points for funny characters) so these weren’t normal reads but would love recs on anything similar! Thank you!

Never heard of Theo of Golden but Remarkably Bright Creatures was such a gem. The octopus narrator was brilliantly done and yeah that wholesome vibe really sneaks up on you
For similar feels maybe try The Midnight Library or A Man Called Ove if you havent already. Both have that same kind of gentle emotional punch without being too heavy. The House in the Cerulean Sea is another good one – fantasy elements but super heartwarming and the humor is actualy pretty solid throughout
