Looking for some novels and memoir/biographies that feature child-free, child-less women, where parenting, fertility, etc, is not a part of the story.

might be worth checking out some contemporary literary fiction – loads of authors write protagonists who just happen to not have kids without making it the whole point of the story. memoirs from artists or professionals often skip the family angle entirely and focus on career/creative stuff instead
