Hello! I’ll be taking some solo trips in September and spending some time alone since my husband will be away on a trip with his family. I’m currently looking for books with enough pages that I can spend around 2 weeks to a month reading each one. Could anyone give me some recommendations?
The genres I love are crime, mystery, thriller, historical fiction, and non-fiction.

East of Eden is a solid pick for solo travel – definitely has the page count to keep you busy for weeks and Steinbeck really knows how to pull you into that world. For your genres I’d throw out something like a chunky historical mystery series where you can get lost in the atmosphere while youre exploring new places. The slower pace of solo travel pairs perfectly with those immersive reads that make you forget where you are for hours at a time
