Looking for books that would be good to read on a cozy October day

Since it’s now October, I would really like to read good cozy books but I’m not really sure where to start. I’m looking more for books with the type of vibes of *The Last Tale of the Flower Bride* by *Roshani Chokshi,* like more of a gothic fiction and/or a myster/thriller. Bonus points if its made by a woman !!
