17 year old looking for a book all about life, death, mortality etc… a boy struggling to come to terms with the finality of death.

We haven’t had a death. This is more a question about philosophy, about maybe spiritualism but not religion, the way we look at our place in the universe. He is very concerned about us only having a finite time on the planet and feels it would be good to research in this area (non-fiction).
