My brain has been rotted by the internet and i cant read long or boring texts anymore. Are there any books that are just batshit insane, or really interesting to read? Preferably something sorta popular that you can find at a library. Thanks yall!

i really enjoyed A Good Girls Guide to Murder
I enjoy the body horror novella “Queen of Teeth” by Hailey Piper, because it doesn’t waste time sulking and just gets weird. It’s about a lesbian who wakes up and finds teeth in her vagina, then things get worse.
honestly anything by Karen McManus is great too, i really liked One of Us is Lying and Nothing More to Tell

Dead of Winter – Darcy Coates! It’s a bit gory, but the chapters are short, suspenseful, & compulsive!

Hairpin Bridge by Taylor Adams
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was pretty hilarious. At one point Elizabeth Bennett is slashing zombies with a katana haha
Wolf by Wolf by Ryan Graudin. Historical fiction meets sci-fi action in this intense thriller about an anti-Nazi revolutionary who enters a motorcycle race in order to get a chance at killing Hitler. The motorcycle action scenes are written so grippingly that they had me gasping out loud. This book grabbed me.
