I’m watching Dark Crimes (2016) and I’m really enjoying the cinematography. The way the shots are set up or the sets are framed is very visually striking to me, but I don’t know how to describe this. Is there a book to help me develop my filmic vocabulary? I’d like to be able to discuss technique more intelligently. Thank you.
