I just finished the Netflix series & it left me with so many questions. There were so many holes in the storytelling and virtually no explanation as to the science, which was an overarching theme left practically bare.
I’m wondering if the book fills in the gaping holes left by the series & if the scientific background & hypotheses are explained. Is it worth the read?

I haven’t seen the show, but I don’t remember remember any science plot holes. That said, I’m not a scientist so they could definitely make up some shit and I’d believe it.
