I’m looking for books that are set in a (more-or-less) accurately depicted modern-day primary or secondary school in the U.K. So far I’ve only had luck finding books that are fantasy, historical, or set in boarding schools which aren’t what I’m interested in 🙁 I normally read adult or literary fiction but I can get behind YA too. Thanks in advance!

It’s set in the 1980s but I enjoyed Black Swan Green by David Mitchell (school isn’t the only setting but it’s featured).
