Although i know it’s too broad of a question, but basically im looking for an interesting book that will present history in not just facts or dates, but in like a story that i can follow and connect with while learning in the process

Simon Seebag Montefiore’s work is decent. Just be ready that it can be a bit dense, as it can go into details.
