Trying to find some books from my teens

Ok, say there’s 2 books I’m trying to track down from my teens, and one of them will be much easier to describe:

The first is a post- apocalypse set a few generations after the fact, where a non-mutated human falls in love with an above ground irradiated person who has fur- it was part of my U.K. GCSE curriculum, if that helps

The second was about a pair of robots watching Adam and Eve from space, fall for each other and somehow make love- i know it sounds odd, but I want to find a copy to see if it’s as strange as i thought it was
