I want actions, swords and spells, fireballs and thunderbolts, gods and dragons, castles and dungeons, battles and wars, just mindless blockbusters in book form, any suggestions?
The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson has the best fantasy action I have ever read.

ok hear me out. i’m on the last book of the red queen series after skipping out on it a decade ago due to the overhype but i’m REALLY enjoying it! more dystopian than fantasy but lots of moral grayness and abilities and politics/war.
