So I’m currently watching the movie *The Last Voyage of the Demeter*, which is about a boat that allegedly sails from Romania to England carrying the coffin of Dracula – who wakes and causes all sorts of terror. The vibe of an old ship, sailing through storms and treacherous weather, with dark nights and lots of dread and shadows…it’s a real vibe.
Can anyone think of any books set on ships (especially in the historical period), where strange events or mysterious/terrifying things keep happening/dread and terror at sea?

Not a historical or the kind of ship your taking about but same kind of vibes. Dead Silence is the movie Ghost Ship in space.
