As per title I’ve just finished project Hail Mary and I’m really sad, I’m always sad when a good book that I love ends, but this hit me way harder as probably has been one of my time favourites and I need a replacement. My favourite books aside from this have been Armada, Ready player one/two [Ernest Cline] Siberian Trilogy ( Siberian education, free fall etc) from Nicolai Lilin, Nothing new on the western front [ Remarque ] and some narrative/travel narrative from an Italian author that has no translated books afaik ( Enrico Brizzi ). Anyone has any suggestions? I don’t have a specific genre, but I do like books that flow ( not sure how to describe this ) in a direct way, like project Hail Mary, because it’s easier for me to get into it.

well, there’s The Martian.
But the other ones that come to mind are The Bobiverse and The Wayfarer Series
Here’s a few sci fi novels similar-ish in style:
* Have Space Suit, Will Travel by Robert A. Heinlein. I would say most of what this author wrote is not very similar, though. Just this one.
* Seveneves by Neal Stephenson
* We Are Satellites by Sarah Pinsker
