I typically stick with non-fiction, but I’m trying to get into fiction. I am picky about books. The pace has to be fairly quick or I get bored. I love crime, mystery, and historical fiction. I also find that I usually like 20 or 30 something, female, very imperfect protagonist. TIA!

I would try Carol O’Connell, parts like the computer stuff are getting a little bit dated now because Mallory’s Oracle was published in 1994 but they are still damn good stories and definitely have a lot in common with Gillian Flynn.
