Hi all, I just finished the devil wears prada and I LOVED the girly y2k vibes! I grew up in the y2k era but grew up in a fairly strict and religious household/rural community so I didn’t get to engage in it a ton. I would love suggestions for other chick lit-esque books kind of like the devil wears prada and preferably takes place in the y2k era and talks about style/culture during that time as well! The only thing is, I really just cannot get into books where the only plots center around romance. I’m fine with romantic subplots but I really don’t want that to be the main focus of the story. Thanks in advance!
