I really enjoy the scary feeling of the unknown, be it paranormal or extraterrestrial or simply some unknown, natural part of this world.
I really enjoyed House of Leaves with the exploration of a house that didn't make sense, and Roadside Picnic, with an exploration of a landscape changed by aliens.
Are there any other books about exploring the unknown, with this creeping scary feeling? Would love if it was the sole focus of the book! A small group of people, or maybe single individuals?
