I am in a slump, please help.

I just finished "the recruit" and "the night agent" and I loved them. Please recommend political thriller/spy/espionage/ government corruption web, fantasy litrpg as standalone or series. I'd prefer the main character to be new/ inexperienced like Owen from "the recruit" or the mc lady from "covert affair" but they learn quickly.

*Plus is the characters are smart, learn to fight, there's humor, unlikely allies, intense .
