I’m making a reading list of one book for each country in the world.. can you help?

So I don't know when will be the next time illl be able to do a long term trip abroad.

I think the next best thing would be to travel vicariously via a good fiction book set in another country.

I've no preferences for genre but I do like a good thriller.
