Hello. I am considering diving into the works of J G Ballard, given my interest in dystopian sci-fi. I was hoping someone would be able to recommend which book of his would be the right one to begin with. Also, I usually try out an author (to see if I really like their writing) by reading their short stories or novellas. So, I think starting with one of his short story collections would be the right thing to do. But, given there are many of those, I am not sure which one to begin with. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.

I’ve only read one book by him **Highrise**. But I really enjoyed it and would recommend it, plus it isn’t too long (~200 pages)
My Dad recommended JG Ballard to me… he recommended me Crash… I dont want to read anymore JG Ballard now, so probably don’t start woth that one 😎
