Depends on your sense of humor, but I love books of essays like those by Samantha Irby and David Sedaris. Those always make me laugh out loud. A novel that was light and funny for me was “where’d you go Bernadette?” By Maria Semple. I also loved “The Echo Chamber” by John Boyne- also light and funny read.
