Looking for a book or books similar to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Comedic in tone while also dark when it needs to be. Preferably from the perspective of a vampire slayer, but I’m open to other options if a good suggestion presents itself!

I got very strong Joss Whedon vibe from NOS4A2 by Joe Hill. It’s about a woman with supernatural abilities that needs to save her son from a vampire like creature.
If you have any trigger warnings, I do recommend you check reviews for them because it does have dark elements. If you’re okay with audio books, I recommend listening to the audio. It’s read by Captain Janeway from Star Trek voyager in all her transatlantic accent glory and she makes the funny parts funnier
Slayer by kiersten white is literally a Buffy spin off book. It’s about a different chosen one slayer
