Normal murder mystery like knives out or something

So recently i got this urge to start reading a book rather than spending too much time on phone and i ordered a book called "Wuthering Heights" which was very difficult to understand.

can you suggest me books which are in simple language and are like thriller, mystery, fantasy etc.
