I absolutely loved The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty. It came out earlier this year and I couldn’t put it down.

The Magician by colm toibin! It’s actually so fast paced I can’t believe it. It kinda has dark academia vibes in the beginning, then it shifts to a quasi-incestuous family drama set during the rise of the Nazis.

Thursday Murder Club, The Last Devil to Die. A beautiful take in ageing, loss & death. I finished it in a day with much sobbing.
