I've read some Dune books. I liked the fact that although the writer died, the saga goes on (and I know that a lot of fans don't like that… :D). But I would like to find some more scientifically accurate book serie, something that goes in the closer future. Do you know some? Thanks for tips 🙂

The only thing I can think of is series that are written by many authors as part of a larger media franchise, so perhaps the Star Trek books. There are over 800 of those and counting. Obviously not a linear series, but you’ll never run out of content.
You might try John Varley. His 8 worlds series centers on various moons and planets of the solar system. Very creative, with many short stories as well as several novels. He often veers into somewhat outre sexual themes, though his stories describing sex changing characters seems much more mainstream today than they did when he wrote most of them. I would suggest starting with Steel Beach.
Not near future, but maybe Alastair Reynolds? [https://www.alastairreynolds.com/novels/](https://www.alastairreynolds.com/novels/)
How about Perry Rhodan, although there are a nber of authors? Starts with the moon landing and continous from there. I’ve read like the first 30 books or so, before I got bored. But that was propably 15 years ago. Might give it another try.
