Just finished East of Eden – craving another story with psychologically robust, nuanced characters

I devoured East of Eden and am feeling a sense of grief in knowing I’ll never read this book again for the first time. The internal dialogue of the characters so was rich. Specifically, I found the inner-psychology as well as the almost philosophical reflections between the characters to be so engaging to read (I’m looking at you Samuel, Lee, Kate). Can you recommend a book with similar character complexities / psychologies or a book that gave you a similar reading experience?
